  • Luke was a bright spot in an amazing Amity Class. He was a jokester, a caring peer and a true Amity Spartan. Our hearts break for the Smiths, his classmates from 2018 and the entire Amity Community. Love, Anna Mahon and the ARHS Administrators

  • Cindy, Bill, and Lexi , what a beautiful service and tribute to Luke. We hope that all the wonderful things family and friends said about Luke will comfort you today and in the years to come.
The one thing we loved about Luke the most was he was Luke. When we met Luke during football the boys were so young and at that moment We could see Luke was something special and he sure lived up to that!
He was all those wonderful things because of the family he had and the way he was raised. May he Rest In Peace and he will live in our hearts forever. Our deepest sympathies and love , The Butler Family

  • My thoughts and prayers are with Luke’s family and friends. Working at BCS and AHS I watched him grow into such a great young man. Whether at school, church or Stop and Shop he always greeted me with respect and that sweet smile. He was so full of life and energy. My heart goes out to the entire class of 2018.
    With deepest sympathy,

Luke was a fantastic young man. He was special, and I am so grateful to have had him in my program. Luke was everything a coach and friend could ask for. I will miss, but never forget #10.

  • Cindy, Bill and Lexie.
We are truly sorry for your loss. Our hearts and prayers go out to you as a family. This I believe is the hardest thing to accept in life; the loss of a child, something we should not have to do. Know that you have been and will continue to be in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. Luke was a good-hearted son and brother and we will remember his as a wonderful child. He was a good soul!
    Our love Chuck and Bonnie

  • Cindy, Bill and Lexie,
Our thoughts and prayers with you and your family. Kane and Luke started at Bethany Nursery Group together, seems like yesterday, continue to elementary school until we moved. Although the distance, that jovial energetic and loving little boy will never be forgotten.
