Marlow H. Tinari, Jr. aka “Turk” age 83 of Derby Connecticut and beloved father of Linda, Marlow and Eunice Tinari passed away peacefully on Saturday November 3, 2018 at the Branford CT Hospice in-patient facility.

He was born on June 9, 1935 at the Griffin Hospital in Derby to the late Marlow and Valeri Tinari. He was raised in the “Burtville” section of Derby and always considered Derby to be his hometown. He was a firearms enthusiast, lifetime member of the NRA, a passionate country western dancer, a big New York Giants fan, enjoyed surf casting, golfing and shooting at the range, as well as spending time with family, friends and pets.

Marlow is survived by his sister Josephine Forte, son Marlow (Jeanne), daughter Eunice (Ron) and his grand daughter Lily Jean. He is also survived by 3 nephews. He was predeceased by his 7 year old angel of a daughter Linda Tinari as well as his sisters Doris Testone and Gloria Comboni.

Friends are invited to greet Marlow’s family on Thursday November 8 from 9 to 10:30 am in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby, CT 06418. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, 212 Elizabeth St. Derby, CT 06418. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery on route 34 in Derby. Memorial contributions may be made in Marlow’s honor to the well deserving CT Hospice Program, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford CT 06405.
